We have an unwavering belief in the positive potential of every young person. Our purpose is to find the wounded runaways and through interventions we will lift them up, heal their emotional, physical and spiritual wounds and put them on paths to brighter futures. 

 We require

• 2 homes ( 1 home for boys, 1 home for girls)
• Clinical staff including Psychologists, Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner/ RN, LPN/ CNA,
• Dietary staff,
• Residence employees
• Social Workers, Job Counselors, Educational staff, Liaison with National Runaway Services and Missing and Exploited children
• All employees will be background tested and drug tested
• Vans

Our aim:

• Provide a safe haven for runaways (temporary or permanent)
• Provide nutritious meals, safe place to sleep
• Provide clean clothing
• Free phone call to parents or families to let them know that the youth is safe
• No questions asked
• Drug free zone/ Alcohol free zone/ Cigarette free zone

For permanent placement:

• Substance abuse counselling
• Job training, GED program
• Foster Care placement
• Anger Management counselling
• Living and Social Skill counselling
• Mental Health counselling

We want to have an open door policy so that the youths will not feel trapped by what we are attempting to do for them. Temporary/ transient youths will be welcomed by the 5th Mark and the 10th Mark, we wish to expand to other cities in Hampton Roads.
